Official launch of the Clout Collective network

On Thursday, June 18, the independent communication agencies binsfeld, accentaigu, hf integral, Vidale-Gloesener and Oxygen & Partners announced the creation of Clout Collective, giving a name to a collaboration and partnership spirit that had already existed for several years.

Through a webinar held on June 18, the five Luxembourg-based agencies came together with their teams to present their respective agencies, shared history, the “Clout” partnership, the idea behind it, and its ambitions.

This strategic choice is driven by the increasing digitalisation and growing complexity of the communications industry, explains Claude Sauber, founding member of the network: “As the communications market continues to evolve, the need for increasingly specialised profiles has become more apparent, a trend accelerated by the digitalisation of the industry as a whole. We found these talents among partners—among friends.”

This collaboration between long-standing partners has already proven successful in major projects such as Esch2022 and the “Luxembourg Nation Branding” initiative. By responding jointly to calls for tender for these large-scale projects, they were able to stand out. “The values of Luxembourg outlined in the project specifications—openness, dynamism and reliability—resonated strongly with us,” explains Claude Sauber. “We aimed to reflect these values through an open and collaborative approach, which was very well received.” Since then, relationships have continued to strengthen through additional projects, with Esch2022 and “Luxembourg Nation Branding” still among their clients today.

Bringing together these agencies, Clout Collective represents around 75 professionals from companies specialising in various communication disciplines. This collaborative spirit is reflected in the name itself. “The word ‘clout’ in English conveys influence and impact, and also serves as an acronym representing the core principles of the association,” explains Philippe Beck, co-founder of Clout Collective. “First, there is complementarity—both in terms of our areas of expertise and, depending on the scale of a project, our production capacities. The ‘L’ stands for leadership, both within each agency’s field of expertise and in leading specific projects. ‘Onofhängegkeet’, meaning independence, is a core value within the Clout network—both for the agencies themselves and for the creative minds within them. Another key value is the uniqueness of the challenges we face in today’s market, and the need to develop tailored solutions in response. Finally, the last element pays tribute to the talent of our teams, which we aim to nurture and attract through our open and collaborative approach.”

In addition to setting up an intranet and a dedicated website, the network will organise quarterly meetings and continue to develop joint projects. However, Claude Sauber stresses the importance of remaining open to further expansion: “The market, technologies and trends continue to evolve. New needs in terms of skills and perspectives will emerge, and we must anticipate them. Our sector is currently facing challenging times, and I am convinced that we must remain agile, digitally driven, and maintain a clear understanding of our societal responsibilities. Having a strong network of close partners is undoubtedly one of our greatest strengths.”
